Electrical Power System Engineer:

Investigating the Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Enhancing Power System Operations with High Penetration of Renewable Energy Resources.

About me

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Electrical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan, specializing in power systems. My academic achievements have been recognized with several awards and scholarships. I possess over 5 years experience in operating and planning power systems with a high penetration of Renewable Energy Resources, especially in distribution networks and microgrids. My practical skills were further developed during an R&D internship focused on electric vehicle technology at TDK Electronics in Austria. Proficient in key software and programming languages such as PSS/E, OpenDSS, DigSILENT, and Python, I actively contribute to the academic community through leadership and volunteer roles, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills. I have been an active member of the IEEE, IEEE Power & Energy Society, and IEEE Women in Engineering since 2020. My leadership abilities are further evidenced by my role as Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Engineering Graduate Community Council (EGCC) and as the Electrical Engineering Representative for the Graduate Students' Association (GSA) at the University of Saskatchewan for the term 2022-2024. These roles highlight my robust communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
